about me

*

LiNCOLN PARK began writing books as a way to privately express her feelings about prevalent social issues; especially in regard to urban, African-American, feminine perspectives. However -- with the subjects and popularity of her titles now crossing over publishing color-lines, LiNCOLN PARK's fecund fables and prolific parables of modern episodes are heralded by a colossal and mounting faction of fervent, mainstream literati.

Called a 'gifted writer' by the prestigious, RAWSISTAZ Book Reviewers; as well as a special combination of -- Erma Bombeck's CRACK WIT, Tim Russert's CRACK RESEARCH, Merriam Webster's CRACK DEFINITIONS and a generally, CRACKED MIND -- LiNCOLN PARK's extraordinary literary style is controversial, cult and cutting-edge. As she frequently administers a more severe and disquieting pen than her contemporary literary counterparts, 4465 PReSS has taken unique initiative and placed the standard seal of PARENTAL ADVISORY on the front and back covers of all LiNCOLN PARK-penned books.

favourite books

Believe it or not -- one of my all time favorite books is THE EXORCIST. Why on EARTH? BeKUZZ -- when I was in 7th grade, I read it behind my Home-Ec teacher's back . We were all too young to see the movie; and so we passed it around from kid to kid like happy elves. Every now and then, you'd hear an,"Eeewwwwww!" from somebody's oven door. LOL Anyway, that simple act of defiance was the beginning of my self-discovery.

Hey, Guys! I'm not too much for period pieces, but I an absolutely enthralled by this work! It's like the Masterpiece Theatre version of 'Moll Flanders' (starring Alex Kingston), Clint Eastwood's 'Unforgiven' and season three of 'The Sopranos'; intertwining in a happily demented mashup! IMHO, I... view book

Jesus, Girl! And I thought MY family was dysfunctional ( I'm still holding onto my own thumb to make sure it's still attached to my hand)! Granny (Nana) was just as whacked out as Mum, or even more so, IMHO. She let her daughter get away with being an unrestrained mental case. I would hope t... view book

This is a beautiful story. At first, I thought I was reading the 'hunting trip' episode of "The Real Housewives of NY" LOL! Anyhow, Wolf was an imperial asshole; and his reluctant transformation was really comforting and worth reading to behold. I especially loved the fact that his conscien... view book

I had some trouble with the British(?) expressions -- only because I'm an uncultured girl who spends too much of her life in cyberspace. As for the book ... I adore your style; envy your imagination and shelved the book immediately after reading it. Fantastic! view book
