about me

**I am not active at the moment, I've run into RL, so as soon as I get things settled, I'll return all reads. Just please be patient with me! **

About me? Ha! I have a hard enough time writing about fictional characters, let alone myself!

Well, I have the book starting to load. It's a bit rough after the first chapter, but that's the one I expect most people to comment on anyway.

I'll read yours if you read mine! Good luck everyone!

Now, for the blurb:

Dena Gray is a professional Designer in Georgia where she lives with her faithful chocolate labrador, Maggie, and her fantastically inspirational roommate (who has six beautiful cats). She's been writing for most of her life, but only actually settled on science fiction/fantasy rather recently, having cut her teeth on romance. In 2006, Avon Fanlit and the Romance Vagabonds writing blog re-spurred the writing bug and the rest, as they say, is...well, not history, then, is it? Hmm...fantasy, perhaps? ;)

favourite books

Classics: Jane Eyre; Cyrano de Bergerac; Pride and Prejudice; Les Miserables

Romance: Desperate Duchesses (Eloisa James); Improper English (Katie MacAlister)

Science Fiction/Fantasy: Anita Blake and Merry Gentry series by Laurell K Hamilton; Merlin's Descendants series by Irene Radford; Ruins of Ambrai (partial series, sadly) by Melanie Rawn

Honorable Mention: Where the Wild Things Are (I loved this as a child and bought the anneversary release many moons ago); The Giving Tree and Where the Sidewalk Ends; and of course, the brilliant Dr Seuss.

Crescendo Oronis

Dena Gray

An alien leader must either save or kill his brother. The indecision that threatens his rule is his hardest battle.

This is a journey of fixation, fear, reckoning and regret that follows Oronis' quest to find his missing brother, Ergaleio. By his own law, Oronis must sentence him to death as soon as he is found, but there may be leeway: Ergaleio left for Earth with dangerously valuable software that could prove his innocence.

Can Oronis reach him in time? An earthling female tells him his brother is in danger, held captive in a research facility. Upon further scanning, he finds a core signature matching his brother's DNA...Inside her. What have these creatures done to his brother?

As for her: one of his team wants to destroy her, one wants to experiment as was done to Ergaleio...

He's not sure what he wants from her...

A/N: Janach (aka Nach) has a speech impediment, so the misspelling is on purpose. (starting in Ch. 2)

Excellent first chapter. I look forward to reading more. I think there were a few mechanical errors (spacing and comma placement) but that was it. Very well done, setting the tone and expectations for the rest of the story. Good Luck, Dena Gray - Crescendo Oronis view book

^_^ Nach's got a speech impediment (I think I mention this a few lines down). His glossa - or tongue - was damaged in battle. :D He liked the fact that it made him sound different than everyone else (think Scottish) and didn't let his nano colony fix it. view book
