Blood Immortals

Isabella Black

Naomi White along with her two friends, Michael Torrent and Hunter Fore, discover a supernatural world, and their place in it.

Naomi White, Michael Torrent, and Hunter Fore are sixteen-year olds who realize a world they belong to, the Nakymaton World. The arrival of Lia Waters, a red-headed beauty, arouses their curiosity. The teens are assigned a Quest to save Earth and the beings among it from the merciless Blood Immortals, the vampires. Other creatures prowl the Earth, attempting to slow their mission.

Hello Isabella,
Well when I read the short pitch I thouhgt oh well another one with super powers and then I read the long pitch and I thought another quest. BUT I WAS WRONG. You have a very good read here, with characters that pop with vivid color and a storyline that is different and exciting. CONGRATS.... You have worked well on this and it shows.
I am so glad I crossed over to another genre, as it gave me the chance to read, comment, and BACK your book..,,,,,BACKED for sure and please take the time to cross over and COMMENT on mine as this is the only way I can improve my skills and if you will BACK my book I would be so grateful

BEST of luck again

Dear Isabella, I love the wonderful quest of these young people to save the world - would that everyone would fight to save our world from the disasters around us. :) Your pitch is excellent, so set the hook for me to read your book. :) When you use short paragraphs & lots of dialogue, it makes me want to keep reading to find out what's going to happen next. I'm backing your book. :) Could you please take a moment to back my TWO memoir books? Thanks. :) Love, Susie :)

This is information from authonomy (so beware of any other untrue information you may receive that is spam & not quotes of authonomy):
"When you back a book, it only improves the ranking of that book, not yours. However, the author whose book you are backing may decide to back your book also, in which case yes, your ranking would be improved"
"Every time you place a book on your bookshelf, your recommendation pushes the book up the rankings. And while that book sits on your bookshelf, your reputation as a talent spotter increases depending on how well that book performs."

BACKING because Simon Swift did and I trust his instincts. Those pitches look perfect as well. Think you can make it to the Ed's desk. I'll swing by later to give you a right and proper comment.

Do look forward to your comments on my book when you get a chance. Cheers!

Hello Alice,

This is not among my top genres but I enjoyed the story. Fascinating premise and a good opening prologue. Well observed characters and a smooth flow of the story come with good diaologue and prose. Descriptions are vivid as well. Overall, a story that will strike a chord with its target readership and promises to be even better given an extra touch.

All the best.

Thank you for commenting. I have realized that there are past/present tense changes. I had written this quite a long time ago, when I wasn't as developed as an author. When I have time, I will try to adjust it.

I am so loving this! I've only read the first couple of chapters so far, but I am enjoying it immensely! I like the dynamic between Naomi, Michael and Hunter, and I can't help but wonder if there will be a romance brewing between two of them...I just can't decide which two that would be.

One thing to watch out for, though: you keep slipping from past tense to present tense and back. I would recommend carefully re-reading what you've got up here so far and changing all of the present tense phrases in the narrative to past tense. After all, you can only go with one or the other!

I've placed this on my shelf because I can't wait to read more of it. All it really needs is a little editing, but other than that, it's great!
