Funny, fastmoving and well written. Great title (one I use myself a lot). Little I can say to improve this, maybe the usual, break up your pitch to make it easier reading, but other than that, you're on to a winner.

Tracy, this is great fun and just right for the chick lit market. I would tighten it up though, needs to be slightly pacier and involve more action rather than just description in first chapter, it needs a neat hook to end chapter one. Otherwise, great stuff! Shelved.

Absolutely loving this. Had to admit I am one of those Ladies Who Lunch, kind of, myself and the rest of the ladies in my family on my dad's side, get together every once in a while, so I had to read this. I found the beginning wonderful and especially liked the bit where she had to show the boss how to flush the toilet, what is it with men! Effortless to read and very well written, backed with pleasure.

This has all the ingredients of a first-rate chick-lit, and the marvellous title will definitely sell the book. Seems to be an accomplished addition to the genre; not my thang, but I can see that the writing is clear and well paced, and should suit it's market perfectly. It's a bit cringeworthy for me though, but I'm sure that's to be expected! Cece's behaviour in ch4 was like nails on a blackboard for me, but it does portray the prissy self absorbed types very well. Good luck with this!

Steve said it well. I'd hate to be his plumber. I enjoyed reading your book. I do want to read the rest of it. I'm bad at comments, so I'll just say that it is well written.

This is very cimic and very stylish and very well written, there are a few rimes that I would have liked to be able to grab my breath and sit in a passage of description but thta's just me because I'm a literary genre reader and never do lunches. As this genre goes it is fast, well heeled and entirely readable. I am not a chicklit reader but I'd give this to my partner and they'd love it.

Wow, this is excellent writing! Very funny stuff, reminded me of Janet Evanovich. A lightning fast pace and humor in every paragraph keeps the reader begging for more. Well done. Oh yeah, I wish those publishers would publish my crap too. Gotta go, there's an alligator in my toilet. Fun read, good luck with it.
