Outlaw

Jim Gibson

Outlaw documents the history of one of two pre-human tribes, and the events which change both their destinies as well as that of humankind.

Santos, Phantom Boy, Joyrider and Escobar are the last descendants of the Red Landers, a pre-human tribe who have for centuries acted as guardians of humankind. Their nemesis is D'Baser, one of their own kind who turned against them after they had been forced to flee their settled home. Outlaw documents the events which took place following D'Baser's brutal slaying of Miette, Phantom Boy's soulmate.
It describes their journey which takes them from planet earth to the Noosphere, it's virtual shadow-world, and back again; their travel to various timeframes, and utlimately to a reunion with the Kargyupa, a people who like them seek their own revenge.

That's the first time I've read about London air being described as delicious!!

Can't usually get excited by this genre, but your writing is some of the best I've come across on the site.

Great premise too.

This is brilliantly powerful writing, Jim. I see I am the first to comment on your return. I am not going to nit pick, or anything like that. I am not qualified to criticise work such as yours. All I can say is, I really enjoyed the chapters I read. I must admit, I did not read all of them. There was no need for me to do this, it is such a great book. I wish you all the best of success, you deserve it, and should soon be on the editors desk! I do not have space to back, Outlaw, straight away, but it will be done sometime today. 20/02/10.
