S.E.A.L. Team Omega - Flames of Betrayal

Sierra Rose

An action/adventure story with a twist as a Navy SEAL unit works outside normal chain of command and finds all sort of trouble.

When a raid on a ship suspected of carrying uranium goes bad, S.E.A.L. Team Omega and its leader Commander Ethan Tremayne are left for dead. Written off by Navy Intelligence, it’s now up to Commander Cassidy Marshall and her associates to find the abandoned platoon before it’s too late. Going against all rules, she leads her men on an onboard assault that unwittingly starts an unexpected chain of events. After Cassidy is kidnapped by Black Ops agents, working for someone high in Navy Intelligence, Ethan Tremayne must not only get Cassidy back alive, but keep her safe until they uncover their hidden foe and what lies behind his vendetta. Jump aboard for the first action-filled thriller in the S.E.A.L. Team Omega series, as author Sierra Rose takes readers from a carrier in the Atlantic to the black pits of counter espionage in Flames of Betrayal.

Too much dialogue.

First, I believe I replied in an e-mail to cover everything you mentioned. The title is of my own doing. I am perfectly aware of what and how the intended spelling is. The titles or rankings as well as many of the weapons are ones I've seen in another well received published book so you may also want to write to that publishing house to mention those complaints to them. The book is selling well as a paperback and as a Kindle and since it's been edited for some small things those sales increased. Like I said in the e-mail, sorry if it's not right in your eyes but then it appears that several known published authors also wouldn't be.

As I once tried to share with you, there are so many technical errors in your book, a publisher will either simply send it back to you knowing you have not taken your research seriously, they will rip it apart in an attempt to correct it, or they will ask you to correct it. Either way, it'll never get published the way it is. It's SEAL - NEVER S.E.A.L., and they don't use Uzis, and do you have any idea what a "Yoeman" is? Obviously not. And why would there be a "Torpedoman's Mate" on a SEAL team? They are not submariners.

There is such a thing as artistic license, but you have taken that way to far.

This has Gold Eagle written all over - straight heroes in the Executioner mold! Well done and Good Luck!

Sierra,

I've never been a fan of "military/commando/special forces" on film or in print. However, I was recently surprised by and thoroughly enjoyed Matt Reilly's "Ice Station". S.E.A.L. Team Omega" seems to promise entertainment on much the same level. Good job. You are 'backed' on my shelf.
If you get a chance, would you mind checking out my novel, "The Wild Wild Quest"?

Best of luck,
