What a wonderful way to introduce children to a variety of subjects. I also like your book synopsis in Chap. 1 and was happy to see that you developed the characters of the various family members in the later chapters.

This is so engaging. I chose it to read because I want to visit this part of the world. I think this is a great idea for a series to introduce children to the beauties of our planet.
I suggest only that you go through and clean up your verb tense. Read it aloud and be sure everything reads in present tense. I think it works best that way.
Wonderful and entertaining!

The cover is fabulous and the title is self-explanatory. Your short pitch, ‘The Panamari family want to change the world. One step at a time. Are you ready for an adventure with them?’
Is succinct and enticing for a potential reader, but the long pitch (actually, not very long) repeats the same words, thus diluting their effectiveness. I’d have liked to have seen more in the pitch to actively sell the book to readers.
The book itself is charming and perfectly judged for the age-group. I like the premise very much and the exotic setting will have huge appeal to young readers. Very well conceived and the addition of illustrations completes a most engaging book. Backed.

An unusual and exciting destination which will instruct young listeners in geography, culture and environmental awareness. Damn fine idea! Backed

The long pitch could be crisper: 'everything about what makes' then world changing message repeated.

This is the perfect middle school read and it should be on their school reading lists each year! This is a beautiful rendering of a story! Descriptive prose is your talent and also you have a gift for writing to the middle school age group that is intelligent but not condescending! BACKED

Thanks to some very perceptive criticisms on this site (thank you Authonomites!) I am, at present, in the process of a major rewrite and don't have time for individualized comments.
If you are reading this it means I have read the first couple of chapters of your book and think it is worthy of my support. My training is in the visual arts so I can't really help with the 'nuts & bolts' but if you would like to know what I really liked about your work, just send me a message and as soon as I can I will get back to you.
A look at Sicilian Shadows would be greatly appreciated.
Frank.
If you back my work, you may also want to approach BJD (a big supporter of my work) for a further read of your book.

The fact the book is set in Brazil kept me reading. I love the country and can't wait to go back (in two weeks!) My kids, when they are older, will love this!

This is an interesting pitch for a book whose plot promises to be unusual and exciting. The setting in a country with jungles and wild animals is something bound to appeal to young children. The family atmosphere, with both mother and father well in the front of the picture, provides a lot of security, while the move to Brazil provides the necessary adventure to make the story attractive. The three children are lively and individual, someone for every child to relate to. You write in a friendly, personal voice, which works well. Backed.

A little bit of a slow start, but it soon livens up to the things all the young ones enjoy. As and old young one myself, I like the story. Great stuff. Backed.

Children will adore this book, its a world of delight and imagination...just whats needed in a society that seems to have forgotten the joy of having a story read to them at bedtime. besides who wouldn't love a story of adventure complete with its own pet Jaguar...that won me completely. Personally I have a thing for crocodiles...but thats a problem i'll have to deal with...Your book is so very appealing. it will do well on the site.

Backed with delight.
