"The Joy in Me," All About Me from the Word of God

Susan Hall

O, THE BLOOD OF JESUS...

YES, JESUS LOVES ME!

HOLD ON, OLD SOLDIER...

I KNOW A CHANGE GONNA COME...

BECAUSE HE LIVES!

This little book is written to GIVE HOPE to all those who are in need of supernatural healing from a broken heart or a broken spirit. For those "living" in depression, or those who have known deep emotional pain. We've been hurt, we've been damaged, we've been wounded; and we cannot heal ourselves.

We need God. But when it comes to receiving supernatural healing through the word of God, even the very educated, well meaning Christian can draw a blank. Receiving from the Lord? Who can receive from the hand of God, and how do we get some of this receiving for ourselves? The farthest we oftentimes come is just knowing that we need to be healed.

Inside 'The Joy in Me (...)' I feel at home. Such aesthetic qualities and substantial messages are where I belong. These are just words. But what else can we use in writing?

Hi Ron,

Thank you so much. Yes, I know. Some of the fonts and sizes and things like that I think could definately use some more work, but I am still writing other books at the moment too, so I just don't have enought time to do it all right now, all by myself, all at once. I'm trying though... (smiles) But, I am working on that, because there are so many messages, and little things that I want to bring to people's attention, and it really is challenging to do that on such a little page 4x6, and 36 pages only. It's challenging. But thank you for your time, thoughts, comments, and your encouragement. God bless You! I wish you all the best and I will take a look at what you write too!

Susan

I can see where your book would fall within a helps section of a Christian bookstore. I was somewhat confused by the many changes in the fonts. As far as a message there are a lot of good things here. Good luck to your continued success. Take a look at December Gold when you have the opportunity.

Hi Liz,

Yes, yes, yes! Thank God for You! And all the other people like you and me too! Thank you so much. We do need more of God, and less church talk. You are so right and so kind to encourage me. Thank you, again. Yes, yes, yes!!! All thes best and I will look at your work too.

Susan

So many great metaphors and messages in the text! Not normally my genre but thi seems to be less about organized religion and more about faith and finding our way in the world! BACKED with pleasure!

Hi my fellow Suzie Q!

Thank you so much. I'm glad you liked my book! and I'm glad to know that you love God too! I did load 2 more on my page, and I have about 13 books that I am currently working very hard to complete. They are definately my passion, and yes, there is a more complete collection than what is loaded here. Oh, time... (smiles). I will take a look at your work as well and I do wish you all the best Suzie Q.

Susan

Dear Susan, Well, I've come back to your book, which I love. :) Since I've already backed your book, I'll put you on my watchlist to hopefully advance your book. :) I can't remember if you have backed my 2 books. If you haven't, please do. God bless you. How about writing some more inspirational books, huh? Love, Susie :)

Backed with pleasure! Good Luck!!
A look at Sicilian Shadows would be greatly appreciated.
Frank.
If you back my work, you may also want to approach BJD (a big supporter of my work) for a further read and possible backing of your book.

This is a very creative way to expand the understanding of how scripture is meaningful today, right here and now. Nice work!

Hi Eliza,

I just wanted you to know that I added two more books that you may like a little better. They are part of the same collection as "The Joy in Me." They are "All About Me," and "The New Me," from the Word of God. If you get a moment, let me know if that was more helpful to you, okay? All the best.

Hi Mairi,

Thank you so much for your kind comments on my book. You are so right, the print needed to be bigger and clearer. I am so new at this, I had no idea! (smiles) I love God's words so much too. Just in case you might be interested, I have fixed the first book and also added two more that are part of the collection, "All About Me," and "The New Me," from the Word of God. All the best to you. And that you again for your time and your comments.

Susan

I'm a great lover of words - God's or anyone elses and this is an interesting exploration of just what the Bible is trying to get across to us. I wish the print was a little bigger as the formatting is complicated and it's difficult to read. Which is a bit ironic, considering.
I have it on my shelf.

Yes. Thank you so much. I am very, very, new to this and I do so appreciate your comments. Thank you again. And all the best to you as well.

This is certainly different, not sure if the small font is doing your great book justice though.

Very interesting read.

Great work

Hi Eliza,

Thank you so much for your time and your comments. I am very glad to hear from you. I wrote the book with the definitions so that people could slow down when they are reading the bible and really hear what God is saying in that scripture. I do have 4 previous books to this one because it's actually a part of a collection, which does explain more for the person who has really been put through a whole lot. I do understand. Maybe you would like one of my other books even better...(smiles)... Hopefully, soon... I did change the color and the font so maybe it will be easier to read. Try it again,ok? God Loves YOU!

Susan.

This is a great subject to take on. As someone who has had much difficulty in the past two years and has read so many books like this, I was anxious to read yours. I think it could be more powerful if you added more of your personal journey into the chapters and not just the scripture. I found it difficult to read the scriptures will all the definitions inserted. I'm not sure how this can be done differently, but maybe you can think of a way.

I love the subject and I will add you to my W/L.

I don't know if you'll find my book to your liking, but if you want a fun fictional story please give it a read and let me know what you think.

Thank you so much, Jeff. what a compliment that is to me. Thank you so much for your time and encouragement. I hope I can one day return the favor.

Susan.

This is light years from what I usually read, but I found the message - and the manner in which it was delivered - refreshing.

Backed.

this is perhaps the opposite of anything I would ever by, but I know your target audience well (my mom) and this will sell to your target audience. This sounds like something she could have written!
I'm putting it on my watchlist and will add it to my shelf the next time I change it out.
