The Bailey Academy is 300 students short and faces closure, so a plan is hatched to 'import' pupils from the former Soviet Republic of Arkozia...

Former Grammar School, The Bailey Academy, is 300 students short and faces closure, so a plan is hatched to 'import' pupils from the former Soviet Republic of Arkozia. However, trouble is afoot for the school's sponsor and minor mobster Eric Bailey - who has his eyes on the school's playing fields for development - and uberambitious head Lucy "Lucille Ball. The Arkozian's planned arrival falls on the same day as the final hoorah of 30-year veteran and professional drunk, Ken Fenn. Bailey and Ball have seven days to seal the deal, Fenn is determined to go out with a bang and the students - who Fenn alludes to as "the scum de la scum," are revolting, literally.

Jem -

I'm a huge fan of irreverence and chaos, and your book has it in spades.

Hysterical story and I'm delighted to back it.

Best of luck here, and I would love it if you could tke a look at my book.

Thanks.

I can sense this being made into a slapstick movie. It has all the right ingredients: a laughable high school, laughable characters, and a zany plot. You have a rich imagination to have created this. Teenagers should enjoy the read a lot. I'm adding it to my bookshelf. Burgio (Grain of Salt).

So good to meet Fenn again.

And its author, of course...

This is hilarious - tongue in cheek and intelligent - love the premise and the story proper is even better than I expected - tough to put down! BACKED with pleasure!
