SPACE MISSION

Avraham Anouchi

The CIA, KGB and the Mossad are entangled in a spy and technology race on stolen drawings and software of a secret space mission.

The free world industrial revolution is endangered by the earth’s fast consumption of rare earth elements. Professor Avner Amram’s scientists develop a sophisticated spectroscopic instrument that can remotely detect the presence of critical rare earth elements in outer space. CIA, KGB and Mossad agents are entangled in spying and counter intelligence while searching for stolen plans and technology secrets related to space missions. Drawings and software are stolen from the Jet Propulsion Laboratories, copied and sent to the Kremlin. A mole recruited by a foreign country is arrested. Avner and his associates are drawn into the mayhem. They encounter industrial espionage and intrigues as they prepare for unmanned space probes. Secrets leaked to Russia result in a race of unmanned probes to Mars and asteroids. Avner’s team reaches a resolution with unexpected conclusions.

Avraham, it appears our books have something in common (Mossad). Are you still around the site?
Bob

I have been away from Authonomy bysy promoting another book. I have revized the Space Mission completely and just uploaded the first 10 chapters. If you like spy and intrigue plots, you'll like this one.

This sounds like an interesting concept. I too have written a spy thriller, so I am always on the look out for some good espionage in the form of fiction. I've put Space Mission on my wl and plan to take a look at it in the next couple of days.

Thanks for your comment/. I'll read your book's description and back it.

Backed you strictly based on your pitch and the first few pages. Perhaps you'd reciprocate and see whether NO RAPTURE's factual fiction merits your backing, as well?

Your use of short, almost staccato like sentences woven into short paragraphs coupled with crisp, well written dialogue keeps the pace of your story flowing nicely. I do like your compelling storyline for it is believeable and taught with tension. Your book is character rich, I do like how you develope Avner, and your descriptive writing makes your thriller a pleasure to read. Backed.

Dear Susie Q.

Thanks for your comment.

My Hidden Scroll is completed and I am concentrating now on my Space Mission thriller which may turn out to be a second thriller of a trilogy. The hero in all three is the same Professor Avner. I already have a plan for the third book.

I am even thinking of coining a new word for the next versions of the Webster, Oxford and Cambridge dictionaries. I may call my there books "THE AVNER THRILOGY". What is your opinion?

Regards,
Avraham

Dear Avraham, This is your 2nd book, I have read & am backing. It is just as well done with a lot of intrigue. You have nice crisp paragraphs & dialogue. Am I to expect a 3rd book, now? You have already backed my 2 memoir books. :) Thanks. :) Love, Susie :)

Thank you Mary M. for your comment. I do have a problem in finding the happy medium between having too many tags and not enough of them. I'l review the chapter and implement you suggestions.

This is a good story that develops well but I believe it needs some proofing. The phone conversation in chapter 1 -- need tags interspersed throughout, ensuring the reader knows who's talking. Some transitional sentences are missing -- he tells the secretary to get someone on the phone then the next sentence he's in conversation without being notified he's on the line. Good development -- backed.

This book encapsulates why I love thrillers. For a start I love the cover, stunning picture and the idea of top secret drawings going missing made me want to read on. I was not disappointed I can see the view that you describe and imagine the relentless snow. The opening tells us that something is going to happen and we want to know what. Excellent writing sets the scene well and keeps the reader hooked, very well done and backed.
