A "Real" Man's Guide To Divorce (First, you bend over and...)

Joe Perrone Jr.

A humorous look at a serious subject w/ good advice with a wry twist of humor. Now #82 bestseller Amazon sex & marriage.

A "Real" Man's Guide to Divorce is a humorous look at divorce from an admittedly one-sided perspective. Author Joe Perrone Jr exposes the myths and fallacies of this most painful experience in a lighthearted manner that will leave you in stitches.

Written nearly 30 years after the author's own "near death experience," the book is filled with sage advice about everything from how to choose an attorney (if you must) to the ten telltale signs that your marriage is nearing the end. And don't miss the glossary of legal terms relating to divorce; there's one meaning that counts and another just to make you laugh.

If you are a man facing divorce, or a man who has survived the "ultimate divide," you must add A "Real" Man's Guide To Divorce (First, you bend over and...) to that special "reading room" in your home.

WARNING: Not for the faint of heart (just in case you're a woman...or a divorce attorney).

Even women can enjoy this book. You have a very 'elasticated' mind. It seems to stretch in many directions at once, and thank goodness for that, as it keeps us mere mortals entertained. Backed with pleasure. Eunice. The Temple Dancer. (Now I need to go and concentrate on someone else's books. Yours have been so tasty, I have spent all afternoon on them).

A humorous and well written look at divorce. I don't mind being of the female persuasion - still enjoy your funny read! BACKED -Elizabeth Wolfe (Memories of Glory)

This was an enjoyable read. It was clear and didn't drag on and on.
I appreciated the lack of warm and fuzzy.
Well written.

I would not commit to have read such a book in case of reprisals. However if I had read it, I’m sure I would have found it entertaing, insightful and very darned funny, as well as oddly introspective. Mmm.

I backed it.
But don't you know that women are the ones that buy and read books?

Begrudgingly backed because it's too funny not to.

Ok, I was warned... Definitely one-sided, but humorous and entertaining. Now you've encouraged me to write the 'other side' - The Working Mother's Guide to Divorce, or How To Get Rid of This Lying, Sack of Shit Loser Before He Ruins Us All.
Good luck, and best wishes,
Vickie

Yes, another amused woman here. And it is so important to hear the other side of the story. With men being so poor at emoting and expressing their feelings - or the ones I have dated, anyway - it is of huge interest to me, and I am sure numerous other women, to gain some insight into how men's minds work - even the mind of a single man! By which I mean even one... : - )

Backed.

Welcome aboard, Joe. This website will improve your writing craft, if you allow it. The short pitch should have a better pitch, such as: "first, you bend over, then you call a lawyer". With the long pitch, break it down into smaller paragraphs so it reads faster. End it with one succinct question. Perfecting your pitches is how you climb in ranking to gather more exposure and comments to better your novel. The writing is good so I am SHELVING you.

Though I have been a very active member for over a year, I can still use your comments on my book when you get the chance. Every little bit helps. Cheers!

Dear Joe, I love your 10 clues to the marriages not working - I'm on my 6th marriage (memoir). :) You did well in preparing me to read your book by your recap/pitch & Introduction before your story began. Your glossary was out of this world. :) It is a good read because you create interest by having short paragraphs & lots of dialogue, which makes me want to keep reading to find out what's going to happen next. I'm "reading/commenting/backing" your book to help it move up on the charts (sending a message doesn't move your book up, but only "comment/backing"). Could you please return the favor by taking a moment to "comment/back" my 2 memoir books to help them move up? "He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not" & the unedited version? "Tell Me True Love Stories," which at the end of the last chapter tells my illness now & my 6th abusive marriage I'm in. Thanks. :) Love, Susie :)

MAN’S GUIDE TO DIVORCE
This is a funny, funny book. I started at the beginning and read it all the way through, even down to the last glossary entry. I agree it’s not a book for women or divorce lawyers, but for everyone else, it will make their day. I’m adding this to my shelf. Burgio (Grain of Salt).
