A great concept and blend of genres here. There is a sense of immediacy to the story, but you may want to cut into the heart of it a little sooner without any preface. Be careful with the caplocks and exclamation points. These are small things on the whole. Love the character--who feel very alive--and the premise, which shines from the first chapter.

You have a good read here with plenty of original touches and ideas to interest the reader. :)

Another gem that uses fantasy well and in a reader gripping way. I like the writing, the visuals and the story structure.

There have been plenty of alternate timeline books done before but yours felt fresh to me. You have a great sense of action, you choreograph your scenes well and know where your characters are in that scene. The writing is good, easy to read and engaging. You execute your premise well and where it's one that could get confusing, it didn't feel it. It felt possible, a huge selling point for me when it comes to science fiction. I read a couple chapters and I think you're off to a heck of a beginning! I didn't see anything I didn't like, but then again, I'm usually involved in the story!

This is a great opening account of a new world society and how it came about. The depth and intricacies that you describe this society with are amazing. I really enjoyed what I read.

You have written a very interesting and unique storyline, which I do like, and created a most memorable main character in Tholan. I also really like how you use the first person narrative voice and the pace of your story flows well. All of this along with your descriptive writing makes your science fiction thriller a pleasure to read. Backed.

'...earth is RAISING the question...' Mother Nature

'In the beginning of the 25th century, scientist...'
"...ponder to a new offspring"? that doesn't really make sense. Consider breaking this up a bit and keep it simple. tell the story in a few words and leave the meat of the writing to the book.

Thanks Barry!!! Well sadly i can't fix anything in the book right now because my old laptop crashed... :( and I had my chapters written there...hopefully I'll get it fix as soon as I recover the files.

But what i meant in the line was,

"The majority of the countries (established governments) of the world in favor of the new constitution were signing it to become federal countries, while the anti-federalist countries; (the countries who refused to become part of the world's federation) weren't very happy that these countries were signing this new world's constitution".

I'm gonna fix it as soon as i can! it is a big bloomer!

Hi Alan, Brilliant.
I've just read your first chapter and really liked it. The part about even your old friends being part of the 'sophisticated' world because money is success is excellent, as is the idea of re-purposing money.
I though this sentence wasn't quite right:-
'The majority of governments were signing the new constitution in which the opposed governments the Anti-Federalist weren't happy about.'
You need to give it a quick edit but I backed it with pleasure. Well done.
Best wishes,
Barry

Dear Alan, I love that you started out with your hero's 3 life rules :) - that was great! :) Your pitch was concise, preparing me for my read :) - 500 years in the future was impressive, too. :) Tight paragraphs & dialogue moved me right along through your story. :) I've backed you book :) - could you please take a moment to back my memoirs book? :) Thanks so very much. :) Love, Susie :)
