Jesseline Thirkill Goes to New York City - Stepping Back in Time

Linda Randall

Going back in time - see what happens to the Munroe family as they go through the depression era from 1935 to 1939.

Anthony Atkins and Ida Tinkle are at war. Using their supernatural powers to wreak havoc on the Munroe Family’s life with spells curses, mind control and murder... Who will survive, who will die? That is the question. It is a story of deceit, lies and trickery.

Ida Tinkle is quite the character with my imagination you never know what is going to happen next. They call her Madame X in London, England because many of her lovers end up being murdered. Then we have Dr Peter Tibideau, one who some say is immortal, a doctor who lives a mysteriously quiet life, until Ida Tinkle changes everything for him.

Jesseline Thirkill’s desire is to become the most beautiful and sought after movie star, she drinks a potion and gets her wish. Then things start to go drastically wrong, Jesseline decides to play the devils advocate only it backfires on her and the only person that can save her is the Virgin Slayer and Anthony Atkins.

The problem is Jesseline does not know who the Virgin Slayer is. Ida Tinkle seems to know or does she? It is a mystery. Follow the clues and good luck trying to figure it out.

I love this piece. It's gorgeous and believable. Your characters are strong and its easy to empathise with their situations. There is an excellent sense of style here, real and distinctive, and it really does help the book stand out in a heavily saturated genre.

Backed with pleasure.

Dear LInda
WOW WOW WOW what a different book, and so well crafted...Just a thought for your long pitch, and that is to put paras in. This is the first read your potential publisher may have of your work and it could give the impression of being too long, it is not but the more interest you get the better. And this book deserves the interest. CONGRATS on a good read.
BACKED by me for sure.....My book is a different genre but crossing over gave me the opportunity to comment and back your talent. Please take the time to comment on mine so I may improve my skill, and if you feel so back it.

Best of luck

thanks.. this is when the story really begins in place royale and the wars begin between Ida Tinkle, vs the virgin slayer and Anthony Atkins.. pitting dark powers against one another and trying to kill people.. it was fun to write.. I'm finished book four the totenmyer cottage (not as exciting, more history of the families and the stories behind them.. book five will be great and then on it's war , war war as all the characters get involved and the story twists and turns like you wouldn't believe.. (same as my screenplay I'm uploading it soon - forgive me I'm not perfect)

Linda -

Jesseline Thirkill Goes To New York City - Stepping Back in Time.
Interesting, the way this series is structured, a promising concept with quirky characters. You may get some flak here for telling in favour of showing. I must read more to comment intelligently.
