Forgotten Sly Men

Karl HEISS

Are Jesuits (D)evil? Now is the time .....of truth . The last temptation of Christ .....a matter of ignorance ......or secrecy

Joseph Duarte a provincial Mexican lad just dreamt of becoming a good priest with the Ordo Jesuitarum...then he is appointed cardinal in pectore alongside the Black Pope …and is later elected...the Pope ...for the greater glory of God.
Joseph Duarte tutored by the quasi maverick irish missionary Rev J.H.,sj a researcher on religious anthropology, grows to learn the trade and its secrets.
But not all was said of the life of Pilate, the man who ordered the crucifixion of Jesus?
Who was Barabbas? What happened on Golgotha? Jesus talked with his companions of misfortune.
What was the last temptation of Christ? What transpired between Jesus and the other crucified with him on the cross during three hours? What if they were not …..two, but three…. maybe four or more ?
Many intriguing questions? What will you say of the answers? A recipe for thrill……..

Your eloquent and intellectual expostion with its allegory and parables appears shackled to Catholic doctrine. What hope is there for the Protestant? Enlightened by the Nag Hammadi and Dead Sea Scrolls and the Gnostic Gospels I think the Protestants, hungering for the truth of Jesus, have never been more hopeful. Your book elevates the reader to a level that provokes thought and debate. We need to open the shutters and let in the light. Yours is an important work. Backed with pleasure.

I'm sure this is really meaningful for those who can make sense out of it...sadly, I am not one of the chosen! I presume the last sentence is an invitation to the likes of myself and all those unfortunate enough not to share whatever gift of insight was bestowed on your good self and not on the rest of us poor bastards!

Dear Author,
I found your book impressive and more so, you connect well with the reader. It is stimulating and provocative in content. Your style of writing is a cut above the rest. It was indeed a pleasure to read it.

Hi,

I read some of your first chapter and am thinking it could be improved with some editing. For instance, the sentence starting with "For the minds fictional still benighted by ignorance," probably should be rewritten completely. I'm not sure what you're trying to say, it doesn't make sense the way it is.

"for the ravished minds" - do you mean 'ravaged'?

'ditto graphically' - ?

Actually there was so much I wasn't able to get in the first chapter that if I saw it in a bookstore I would probably not go on to the second chapter. I think if you just come right out and say what you mean it will help. Don't try to decorate it too much.

I hope this helps

:)

I do like and also agree with most of the points which you do make. Your smooth flowing, easy-to-read writing style is perfect for this genre of book. Your Christian beliefs clearly shine through. Backed with pleasure.

Hi Karl,
I like your fun loving approach to this and what you say about freedom and fools. I also liked the priest, the feast and the psychologist in chapter six. Original work.
Backed.

Dear Karl

I loved your short and long pitch both really sell your book which they are meant too so CONGRATS, and love the way you write. Your ability with words to craft an orginal read is amazing. the characters have decided to take up permanent residence but i will insist they leave soom to go home. ha! I have to wonder on this site at the
creations that come from peoples heads and of course the immense talent of those like yourself to animate
such colorful characters. I truly wish I had half your talent.

Please take a moment to look, COMMENT which is important to me, and BACK my book. if not that is OK
also

BACKED BY ME FOR SURE.
The VERY best of luck to you

OK you've earned a backing simply by quoting Galilei. I have that exact quote in my book too. lol. Anyways, what can I say about this? Not my genre, but I found myself reading it and "flipping" through the chapters. End before I knew it I was done. The writing style although narrative, is easy to read and flaws smooth. The chapters are the right lenght and all is so captivating. One question remains, are we truly free? Are we ever going to be? Can we? But nice attempt in trying to answer that.

Dear Karl, I love that your are talking about pleasing God in your book. :) Will He say, "Well done," or will He say, "enter into eternal judgment?" :) I want to be be in the 1st catagory, don't you? :) You pitch gave me a compulsion to find out more. :) Thank you for sharing what God wants by asking questions. :) Hope you'll write many books. :) I've backed your book :) - could you please take a moment to back mine? :) Thanks. :) Love, Susie :)

"Every time you place a book on your bookshelf, your recommendation pushes the book up the rankings. And while that book sits on your bookshelf, your reputation as a talent spotter increases depending on how well that book performs."
