The Lafleur Mansion - Let's Go Visit Paris and England

Linda Randall

Ida Tinkle, Anthony Atkins and Dr Peter Tibideau are caught up in a magical war over the Book of Spells. Who will die next?

The RMS Queen Elizabeth departs on July 31st, 1942, flanked by several war ships to protect her from the German’s who are attacking as they make a perilous journey from Canada to Liverpool, England during World War II. The fates play havoc as the community of Place Royale wonders if it is in heaven or hell.

The Virgin Slayer causes another murder. The powerful mortal, Doctor Peter Tibideau, disappears with Joseph Munroe’s Book of Spells. Ida Tinkle and Anthony Atkins need the powerful magic from the Book of Spells to get revenge on their common enemy – Joseph Munroe. How can one find and kill the mortal Doctor Peter Tibideau and get back the Book of Spells without dying?

The second generation sets out to start a new life in Place Royale and ends up confronting the ghosts of the past. “Beware of the curse” is what the ghosts say, and Themus Munroe has no idea what they mean. He is too scared to ask his father Joseph Munroe or anyone else. He is afraid that all the pressures of life are getting to him and he is losing his mind, just like his brother Jake Munroe did before he died…

I’m always on the run, with minutes only to read.
Nice piece of writing. Great opener, solid narration, live characters and realistic dialogue.
You’ve got my vote.

Dear Linda
wow what a book cover and one that would immediately grab me in my local book store. Your short pitch just grabbed me and I like to see a question in it as I just want to answer and have it answered, so you got me. The long pitch I have a suggestion for and that is to put in paras. This may be the first read your publisher may have of your book ( and you are sure to get one) and it could give the impression of being a little long. Only a suggestion, one that served me well.CONGRATS on a well crafted book, original and good pace.
BACKED BY ME FOR SURE
I do hope you will review my book, comment and most of all BACK it. but either way the BEST of luck with yours
Denise
