Hi Jo, This is a believable future scenario and yet it has the symbol of the laser fence. I like Ryan and Ryder - the beginning engages - Shelved Katherine

Hi Joanne,
This is a great story and you have crafted it with skill. I am not normally a fan of Sci-Fi, but I love romance and your writing pulled me in. Congratulations and backed! Would you mind taking a look at my book as well? Thanks and good luck to you!

From what I've read, this is quite impressive...I'm not particularly keen on sci-fi/fantasy but you seem to know what you're doing...well done!

You have written a very interesting and unique storyline, which I do like, and created most memorable main characters in Ryan and Mackenzie. The dialogue is realistic and well written and the pace of your story flows well. All of this along with your descriptive writing makes your work a pleasure to read.

Excitingly written and paced wonderfully too. For a romance this certainly has the literary strength to impress on many levels.

Gritty and immediate writing. From the 1st chapter, you've managed to realise a believable dystopia.

I can't help wondering, will this story play out as a v imaginative reworking of Romeo and Juliet? Great idea, if that is the idea.

Im v happy to back your book, Jo, and wish you the best of luck with it. :)

Dear Joanne
your short pitch proposes a question, this is always good because no matter what we all have the answer right? well i was no different, though bellive it or not i tried. but no my ego said I have the answer. your long pitch is very well crafted as is your book. you have a gift and a gift that you apply with skill. you create characters and then animate them with such skill to create a movie in the head CONGRATS
BACKED BY ME FOR SURE.
Please take a moment to look, comment which is important to me, and back my book. if not that is OK also

The VERY best of luck to you

Dear Ryan, I love romance & am for Ryan & his love. :) I can't even imagine being ruled by gangs & the underdog - I guess I take too much for granted in the USA, having never seen action & always having freedom. :) God bless all of those who have kept us free. :) As in your other 2 books, you have a good pitch & nice tight paragraphs & dialogue which moves your story quickly. :) So, is there a 4th book coming? :) Love, Susie :)

I've backed Gangland because this writer has got form. Plus the work opens with dialogue and one of my earlier reviewers told me that was a no--no. Wrong! And besides I wanted to be the first comment. BACKED. Robert Davidson. The Tuzla Run
