Silent thoughts

Kerstin Helbig

Silent Thoughts is a collection of poems about these moments in life which define you.

Silent thoughts is mostly about moments. About moments in life, that every one of us knows. These moments where you stop and breath or where you are breathless, knowing this is something that will define you or the world around you. Something, that might even change you or change everything else. There are some different poems as well, as I choose to upload all 121 I have written so far and that might be a bit much for one collection. Anyway, I just hope that someone might enjoy them.
Btw english isnt my mother tongue so if there some strange wordings let me know.

Dear Kerstin
Your style of writing poetry speaks from the heart as from someone who has been there and experienced it to write about it. I really admire your poetry and if your mother tongue is not english ..... then it is even more amazing and full of expression .... well done ..... i have no hesitation in backing this book. If you have some time please dip into my own anthology which is part autobiographical and see how you get on.
Best wishes
John Paul Kirkham (In Violet )

Your collection of poems about moments in life are very well written and are a most enjoyable read. For someone who's mother tongue is not English you have done a marvelous job. Well done. I have given you a high star rating.

Hi Kerstin, congratulations on you book of poetry.
I myself love poetry and read it at every chance. I found I like the following:- 'Still' 'Battlefield' and 'Point' to stand out above the others. You have some very nice ones but these three stood out to me.
I hope your book does well, poetry is hard to get published, please keep trying.

Kind regards,

Neville THE SECRETS OF THE FOREST - SERIES.

Thank you. Glad you found some you liked. Its interesting to see how the ones which one likes most differ. I will keep trying though I know poetry is especially hard to get published, but hey- live the dream. ;-)

Dear Kerstin, I love your treasure of poems :) - much more precious that gems. :) "Dreaming" is the one I like best & will have to copy it into my date book if that's okay? :) It is just beautiful. :) Most of my family has died (I'm 70), so as I read it, I picture all of my loved ones, including friends that I can't see or talk to anymore - I have written about not being able to see them anymore in my memoirs book, too. :) Greatest of writes!! I'm blessed. :) I've read, commented on, backed, & ****** 'd your book :) - could you please back & ****** my memoirs book? :) Thank you from the bottom of my heart. :) Love, Susie :)

Thank you. I´m very happy that you liked my collection. And sure you can copy it into your date book if you like. ;-) Btw you havent backed me yet, but I´ll be very thankful if you do...

Dear Kerstin, just noticed that Susie Gulick said she had backed your book. As you can see, she has not done so. She obviously intended to. I suggest you send her a message pointing out her mistake.

I absolutely love poetry, particularly when it comes from the soul, as this does. The English isn't perfect, as you explained it is not your first language, yet in my opinion it serves to add a perspective of vulnerability. Good stuff.

Thanks, glad you enjoy it. As for the english I`m still trying to become better. ;-)
