Mischief Murphy: Clear For Take Off

Reese St. Paul

Boredom makes kids do crazy and unpredictable things. Boredom leads to Mischief. Mischief is Murphy Park's nickname. Murphy Parks is bored!

Murphy Parks is an unusual character. He never intends on getting in trouble yet he always finds himself smack in the middle of problem after problem. It's almost as if trouble follows him wherever he goes. It was a bright Saturday morning and Murphy was bored out of his mind. Nothing that he tried to do excited him much. It was like he was stuck in an sticky hole of lameness and he couldn't lift himself out. Not until he stumbled upon Dad's office. It was off limits but Murphy just had to take a look inside. He just had to. Join Mischief Murphy and his sister Maggie as they attempt to squash Boredom like a bug. Between his smart little comments to himself and his thirst for adventure, see how the two children with their friends, Jake and Roy, escape an unexpected disaster.

Hi Reese, if you're interested in publishing through Lulu you have to do all the formatting for your book but there are templates available on Lulu though you have to search for them and it is not easy to find them. If you go to the forums on lulu you will find lots of people that will help if they can plus you might find me there to as I always drop in to see what's happening.
Your book is going on my watched list to check out later, it looks interesting.

This was lovely. Well written and young kids will enjoy the antics of young Murphy. I liked the viewpoint. It worked really well. This will be great fun with good illustrations. The pace was good and its funny. I liked the idea of mums eyeballing getting huge that it would eat him. Well done with this!!
