The Seed: A Novel of India

Barbara Larriva

Forced to flee to the slums of Delhi, Raju adopts a life of thievery and worse to save himself and his younger brother.

The Seed is the inspiring story of the spirited youth Raju and the mystical boodhi he meets in the marketplace of Old Delhi. An unlikely friendship forms between the young boy and the old woman, which takes many twists and turns. Thrust into the unknown with his younger brother Prem, Raju is faced with life-altering decisions. But the mystery of the seed, planted in his mind by his mother, is always with him. It is the boodhi who guides and directs Raju on his quest to discover the true meaning of the seed, which will change his life forever.

I must leave for the office, but I couldn't resist a peak at your book. I read the first chapter, albeit a quick read at this point. I enjoyed it and find it promising. Any further comment now wouldn't really do justice to your fine efforts. I will fit this in my reading queue as soon as I can and will officially comment then.
Best,
John B Campbell

Kendall, thank you. I am new to this so I'll need a little time to navigate the site, but I will be sure to check out your book: The Halo (of Delight).

From the pitch this sounds like just the kind of book I would like to read, so am placing it on my shelf to enjoy in the near future.
