Something new, something old revisited; never the same. You can only go forward, never go back..........
3. Character..........
What are these strange foreign types like?..........
4. One Sunny Night..........
Walking over the mountains from Sweden to Norway bathed in the light of the midnight sun..........
5. East Germany..........
A trip to East Germany shortly after the fall of the Berlin Wall..........
6. A Few Tips..........
How to do it, how not to do it, and why on earth would you want to do it anyway?..........

Reminded me a lot of Bill Bryson, which is always a good thing. I'm really not a travel person, and normally tales of wandering Europe haphazardly just make me feel TIRED AND COLD, but yours actually made it sound fun. And funny. I'm quite attatched to the books on my shelf at the moment, and am determined not to abandon any of them until they're doing well, but don't be surprised if I come back for this at some point. Watchlisted and many stars.

I was recently reminded how much I admire your work, so I came to read this one. I like it even better than the others I've read.

You are a wonder with words.

He he he, I really laughed at this chapter (6) So funny! You really should do something with this book, Pete. It would be brilliant if you could write the whole thing in this manner though. I realise of course that you probably can't, but imagine it, you'd have 'em biting your hand off :) x

This book has been on my watchlist for a while and I finally got around to reading it this weekend. It's such a lovely travel book and one I can relate to in so many ways. It is engaging and fun and I really enjoyed it.
Good luck with this. High stars!!
Regards
Maya.

Hi Pete,
very nice stories, very clean and above board! It gave me the giggles to read those descriptions in their bautiful authenticity and realism. And your writing skills shine and make everything spring to life. A very enjoyable read, will back shortly.

I enjoyed reading this, Pete, you certainly know how to tell a good story and you had me laughing out loud with C6 ... priceless, mate.

All the best with it.

Did you win your writing award in the same way you won runner-up in the conker championship? Oh, kidding, now.
