Control Freaks

Edward Maurer

In a society where anything goes...no one is really free.

A man (Sal) who is a persecutor of threats to society has an epiphany event that now has him as one of the persecuted.

Still a work in progress...I'll add & revise as the story evolves. Unlike "The Prodigal Planet", I'm attempting to write this story from the first person perspective as I expect Sal (the main character) to be in every scene.

I hope you enjoy the story...
Edward

Part 1
Chapter 1 - Digital Breadcrumbs
Chapter 2 - Slumber
Chapter 3 - Party Like There's No Tomorrow
Chapter 4 - Seeking The Hidden Chalice
Chapter 5 - The Late Christians (in progress...)

This is really well written. Your pitch caught my roving eye. Persecution of Christians, a timeless story.

Regarding persecution...Catholics are the new Jews.

(Thank you for the kind words.)

This is really well written. Your pitch caught my roving eye. Persecution of Christians, a timeless story. It never gets old. Certainly some Christians have caused their share of mischief, but sometimes the innocent are harmed, when going after the mischief makers I'm not quite sure which way this story is going, who the real antagonists will turn out to be, but I like it so far.

You've definately got something here. Not being a catholic myself, much of it is over my head. My partner is though and he wants more of it, says it's fantastic...

Pollyanna...I can see this happening in America at the current rate of change. Thank you for the kind words.

Edward

(Check-back from time to time as I'll be updating and appending to the story as I can...but my day job keeps getting in the way of my writing.)

I know it isn't your final draught, more comas would make this easier to read. Although I read it in my head, I found myself gasping for a breath at the end of some of his sentences. Maybe it's meant to be like that.
Good luck with it. Pollyanna. 'Marsupeople'.
