The One

Nicole Jones

Four guardians and The One must end the tyranny of the gods and restore order to the Earth

Earth is alive. It is an immortal spirit; it is why life on this planet continues. One day visitors appeared. Little is known about them other than they are immortal as well; they call themselves The Star Children. After many years of Earth showing the Star Children hospitality the Star Children want the planet for themselves and attempted to take it from Earth. A war begins but neither side can defeat the other so a third party is created; humans. We were created to choose who would rule over the planet. Most of use choose the Star Children and call them gods. But Earth was not giving up. it created five special humans. The four guardians; the Twins, The Child with the Broken Soul, and the Seer. They are the protectors of The One. The One is destined to take down the gods and restore power to Earth

Well written with an intriguing premise, look forward to seeing the rest, the one small bit I'm not sure on is the beginning, it seems out of pace with the parts that follow but still acts as a solid introduction to your world.

Sounds like my sort of book from what I read in the plot. You write very well and I can't wait to read more!
Thanks,
Scott

Not your average fairy tale! :)
This raw, harrowing but certainly grips the reader by the throat.
My only comment would be that your use of capital letters gets a bit distracting, especially the use of aargh. You may want to experiment with other ways of showing this. Just IMO.
