Die Every Moment.

Mohan Velayudhan

The fire burned furiously. The wind with the high shriek of a banshee, howled in a mad display of rage and fury feeding the flames.

The true values of a good man is turned inside out when something happens. It turns his personal world into 'hell'. He fights back and in fighting losses those values he holds dear...Emerges as a cruel man who lusts after revenge and bloodshed! It’s a story of courage, fear, of lust, love and fighting the odds!

+++

'The two men half dragged, half carried Apsara. She was stark naked, her eyes swollen, the face black and blue, her belly big with child, looking out of proportion. Her body lay slumped on the straw covered ground. Kalki seeing his lovely Apsara bruised and battered cried out in anguish.

Kalki roared in anger like an enraged wild animal, straining against the ropes. How could humans behave like beasts? Even animals don’t rape their pregnant. As Sanakia withdrew his limp manhood, blood flowed from Apsara’s body.'

After reading the prologue I can see why Kalki's world turns into 'hell'. There is such raw hatred and aggression described that as a reader it is difficult to remanin unmoved. The first chapter also illustrates a skillful change of pace and tone eg tension is built up as an attack is vividly described and then the momentum changes as we find Kalki in Security Headquarters. The dialogue flows well and the narrative is clear and concise. The language used is powerful and reflects the genre you are writing for. Highly rated. Maria (Georgina's Family)

Great way to start the book, such a brutal scene and flowing prologue.

Mohan,

I read your prologue.
Fast paced, flowing, clean narrative. Good believable dialogue.
A truly devastating scene unfolds as the young Kalki's soul is ripped apart by the vicious acts of the evil Sanakia.

The survivors from the first scene are loaded onto the helicopter and whisked away as the reader is left breathless and desperate for more.

Best regards
Warrick
