Detectives Frank Hoyt and Rebecca Mack try to stop a killer.
“You know all the bodies we’ve got on ice in the morgue? Well you’re going to freak when you find out who’s on the phone right now saying he’s seen them all die.” Homicide Detective Rebecca Mack tells her partner, Frank Hoyt. “Who?” Frank asks. “Jackson Barnes.” Rebecca says. Frank’s stunned. “That’s not possible, Jackson’s blind.”
Eighteen years ago a psychopath took Jackson’s eyes and now a life of groping for anything tangible is all he knows. That changes one day when for a moment, Jackson’s eyes become useful again. But no one should be forced to witness the pain and death he sees.
Frank, a homicide detective, is assigned a case of grizzly murders that leave him and his current partner, Rebecca Mack puzzled by the killer’s randomness. Their leads have dried up and are forced to wait for another body when Jackson calls, shattering Frank’s fragile peace of mind. The past he’s worked so hard to put behind him rushes back and Frank begins to spiral out of control. Yet if he wants to stop a killer he and Jackson will have to work together and look into the soul of a madman.
