Future Reach

Anthony Roach

A story about the evolution of the human spirit, ruthless manipulation, time travel, memorable characters, dark paranormal action that spans billions of years.

Why is the choice between what you believe you know and an unknown truth so fascinating? What if our evolution has been driven and programmed by more than just coincidence and we are not in charge of our own destinies? Do people pursue the truth because they have to or because they cannot help themselves? Are we ust pawns with the semblance of free will?
John is in charge of the “plan for pretty much everything”. He just couldn’t help himself – he wanted the truth, got it and then failed and had to watch the End of Days. 266 days later his team fired-up the Big-Bang and spent billions of years nurturing Humanity through a very special kind of evolution. This resulted in the births of 44 year-old Leo Taylor who has the ability to see 266 days into the future and Ryan Paul Daley, a brain damaged 29 year old whose abilities are unclear.
The first exciting story of the Marionette Cycle, Future Reach, takes the reader on a journey that encompasses eons, deals with much that is deep within us all, exploring the dark and uncomfortable as well as championing the unfailing courage of the human spirit

one of the cleverest concepts on Authonomy, it has real epic feeling here with a mind blowing premise. This has obviously been thought through from start to finish and that is the joy of time travel, anything goes. your characters are well defined and believable in this multilayered world you've created. excellent.

I've only just read the beginning and I have to leave it and go out. But I'll be back. The dialogues work well and the school scene too.
You've got my interest and I wish you good luck.
Be back later.
