Michael Dickinson

.

Written in rhyming couplets, these little plays, (each one not lasting more than half an hour), are great fun to perform, and suitable for student productions at all ages.

I love these short plays They are enchanting and funny and wise, like the fairy tales they are based on. The Ugly Sisters are very funny, Their names are excellent for a start, and the retort of Slobina to Slobetta, 'What's that smell? Oh it's your feet!' is the sort of joke children love. The solution of the Three Princes, that Memet wins because he's prepared to give his apple to the Princess, is a very wise result. You give excellent advice at the start which will help the person producing each play. Backed.

Howdy doody.. ready to go...I found uploading user unfriendly.. demeaning ...cheap and nasty!

If you want I'll have a look at your book and give my opinion. ..if you do the same for me!

Bur don''t put me on your list or shelf !
We don't need to play this absurd and inherently dishonest game!...........

Hi Michael,

Oh, these were fun! I hope they have been done on stage; they certainly would brighten up an English course. Beauty and the Beast is brilliant, also Cinderella. Some really delightful lines. Heh, I’ve always felt sorry for Rumplestiltskin; after all, the princess welched on her part of the agreement. Well done.
Regards,

Love Slobetta and Slobina! I have 3 children from 5 to 15 and have seen so many school plays! This would be no exception. Well written, creative and a jot to every parent in the audience! I like the rhyming..great for kids to remember and have fun with. Onto my bookshelf!

I will. Sounds exactly my kind of thing. I ran high school drama club in spain a couple of years ago and searched so hard for plays for kids! Will read next couple days!
