Well, it's been a tough battle but our panel of judges, including the authors, Cesca Martin and Paul Viltos, have finally agreed on their favourites.

The deserving authonomists whose stories will feature in the forthcoming book, Act on CO2: a Fairytale Anthology are:

WINNER: 'The Three Little Pigs and the Stereotyped Wolf: An Environmental Fairy Story' by Dr Steven Murray

2nd: 'Trouble in Storyland' by Zanna Robinson

Joint 3rd: 'Daddy Mountain' by Anna-Louise Dearden and 'The Witches Brew' by Cornelius Elmore Addison

We will be contacting the winners individually very shortly. We'd like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their support in this campaign over the past few months. We hope you will join us in congratulating the winners!

Will you be posting the winning stories online so that we can read them all again?

I checked all of the short list of 23 out. I was only one of three active members from authonomy on the shortlist. A few had joined but took no active part in Authonomy. The rest were a mystery?

If you want to check mine out The End, or a New Dawn. I have it posted on here as the first story in Luch Break Thrillers.

I thought the competition was just for Authonomy authors, Clearly not.

Who were they? I've checked Dr Murray and Zanna Robinson. They never seem to have been here, except to interact with Act on CO2. close quotes

HI Cass
The only reason I joined Authonomy initially, was to enter the Act on Climate Change comp, so it must have been available to all at the time who weren't regular members.
I remember being cross at the beginning because the rules asked for a story or fairy tale. i entered an adult story which got listed but I didn't get anywhere with it. Waste of time but it lead me here, so I'm grateful for that.

Thats not what it said on the tin.

The impression was it was only for Authonomy members. Many on the short list could not be traced on the site. i'm just pleased mine didn't make it as a winner, although I was pleased it made the shortlist. It meant I could add it to my short story book
