The key suspect, a (pronounced as [ei]) Justin Time, before hiding away, testified as follows:

'As you know, I'm a literary character from Ma.Ste.'s 'Pro-Vocation'. I stole the buk from him and then he stole it back. It was self-written for some time and now is self-published. Knights, Frank Swinnerton, Barbara Hardy, John Osborne, Arnold Wesker, Harold Pinter, John Whiting, John Arden, Tom Stoppard, Peter Shaffer, Jane Alexander, and many others - he probably knows more about British and Irish literature than many publishers and editors, not to mention agents. Last year he started that extremely interesting thread: 'Hypersincere Grotesque Flamboyance', discussing nuts and bolts of writing in general, and his own original style in particular. Unfortunately, someone (was it Rik System or one of the anatomists - by pressing the 'abuse' button) deleted it.
Now I'm writing my own novel: 'The Cave', under a pen name (Justin Case). It's completely different from Ma.Ste.'s buks, as it's got a real plot (unlike him, I am a storyteller), but there are some elements of his style woven in, as in the fragment quoted above. I hoped to use some other hints from his 'Hypersincere Grotesque Flamboyance' thread but... I've been caved.'

Ma.Ste.'s wife: Margarita, has been very helpful by providing a thorough analysis of her late husband's mental condition. As for when he was still alive.
