It happened again. This time I've got double hit. I've reported this to the Authonomy, I've deleted these messages, I've told who ever is behind this to back off and the same thing keeps on going. I keep getting messages (badly written at that and I think this is done on purpose to make me think this is someone from Russia or something) looking for a date or a relationship. Can this not be prevented from this site? I was and still am under an impression this is for writers not a find yourself a date site. If this trend countinues I will have no choice but to leave.
I am truly sorry to vent but come on Authonomy, don't you monitor what is going on?

I completley agree. It is outrageous, pathetic, and obnoxious, to log in and find a barrage of illict communications as such described. When I recieved my first one, I was close to vomiting out of sheer anger (i'm an asexual you see) and I was so furious, so much so that I shouted at my friend and she cried. I have emailed the site admin and expect very much that they will deal with the matter.

I empathise with your problem, many people say "get over it!" or "its not a big deal", but I can't help but find it gets under my skin like a petulant, infantile scarab beetle in the sahara (mid summer).

Its good too hear that its not just me that it has happened to. I expect it has happened to most of the users on the site. Try your best to ignore it, however hard it may be, the community would be sad to see you go!
