Throw the Whole Book on at Once, or a Piece at a Time?

My entire novel is complete.

I uploaded my first 6 chapters first.
This weekend, I added the next batch.
I have two more "sections" that divide the story up nicely.

Is it better to just throw them all on at once?

I see you've uploaded ~35K. That's probably sufficient - most people only read the first chapter or so.

Maybe pop up a note on your profile saying members can ask to see more if they get to the end.

Always worth adding a line to the bottom of the pitch saying if it's complete and giving total word count rounded up to the nearest 1000 words.

For what it's worth, the 35k you have up I blew through in just a few hours, and I'd read more if you upload more. But NMott is right; hardly anyone here reads anything. For Autho, this is enough - and you can always offer more to those who ask. I'm just a weirdo who reads deeply, and I'm often too shy to ask for the rest.

I'd have got through it yesterday but I was reading something else first... I'm a fast reader.

I'll wait for it to be up for everyone. Emails are harder.

Well, I see people making the editors desk with only a few chapters. I don't understand, shouldn't you have a completed manuscript by the time you hit the desk?
