No, of course not.

Writers, artists, whatever aren't absolved of morality just because they're being creative. Jack the Ripper doesn't get to claim he's a performance artist.

That said, books themselves don't tend to be evil, the ideas behind them are. 'Lolita' is the self-justification of a paedophile, but it's fiction, writing it doesn't make Nabokov a child molester.

Personally I think there's too much negativity in the world. It's easy to be bad, try being good, it's soooo much harder creatively.

And that's my problem. it's not negative or bad, in fact it shows the MC in a very good light, just a different one to what is known, one sane man among thousands of 'cracked' heads.
My problem is that certain ignorant people would jump on the 'stoning' band wagon and miss out on the point
