Hi there!

I was just wondering how many of you who have self published using Kindle and Amazon have obtained copyright protection as I am looking into publishing with Kindle myself. Thanks for the feedback!

Publishing it at retailers like Amazon is a pretty good way to establish copyright with a date that goes with it. When I wrote my first novel several years ago I paid $35 for the Library of Congress online copyright, but for my last 4 books I've just gone ahead and published them with Amazon, Barnes & Noble and Smashwords.

You are copyrighted with your book before you upload it.
I read the US Copyright on ebooks and can't remember it.
You will be safe as houses.
It is wise to ask these kinds of questions.
