about me

ex pop singer, retired soldier, retired business man and retired church minister now approaching 70. I feel younger than my many years. Inspired by my daughter to write a novel I managed to write 2, this one on here is the funny one, the other is more serious.

I have finished writing a simple book about Jesus and my conversion to believing in God, which is a story in its own right. Copies of this book (PDF) will be sent to anyone requesting a copy. No cost involved. Coming, Ready or Not!

I live by the sea, I paint draw and write and all for the fun of it. I have seen the horrors of war and conflict but love my life of peace.

I have written my books mainly for the fun of it.

If ever they should get published all proceeds will go to Julia's House, a local children's hospice.

This is not a sympathy vote appeal but a matter of fact. So any agents please take note.

If you want to swap reads/backing/comments I would be pleased to do so as long as all comments are sincere, honest and not just empty gestures. Please back/comment on Love is a Colour Too, only.

Love is a colour too

Raven Scott

An hilarious, riotous story of romance and heartbreak; ‘Funny and uplifting’.
A romantic novelist seeks a story and finds mystery, laughter, tears and above all…LOVE

Charlene Dickens is a writer haunted by her past. Sent on a trip to revamp her latest book. and carry out a minor journalistic task she finds things aren't all that they seem.

Deceit and betrayal lead her on a roller coaster ride of emotions.

Many involved misjudge her determination and passion. Her fiery red hair should have given warning of her inner steel…but will it be enough to bring her through?

A troubled past, a confused present and an uncertain future…she couldn’t have dreamt up the story had she tried!

But if you want to live life you need a sense of humour, she has that too…by the bucket load.

She neither expected or wanted romantic involvements, she found men were too easy to understand...then along came the Wrath of God and the infuriating Ethan Mcleod...

Her journey starts like a bubbling brook, chages to a fast moving stream and suddenly quickens into a torrent until she finds herself hurtling into rapids of emotions...

Laughter is always just a step away from tears as the heart strings get pulled to breaking point.

You can love Charlene or loathe her, but you will never ignore her or forget her.

JUST READ ANOTHER STORY FROM YOUR BOOK AND IT IS ON MY SHELF. i'M NOT WRITING THIS FOR ANY RETURN. I DO HONESTLY THINK YOUR BOOK IS VERY, VERY GOOD. THE STORIES AMUSE MY YOUNGSTERS IN CHURCH AND I POINT THEM ALL TO THIS SITE AND YOUR BOOK. Rev Raven Scott view book

That was quite a challeng to read. Not because of the changing view points but because of you ability to make one feel part of the storyline. Rarely do books give such a insight into the writers mind. I am a mere man but I can feel for you and enjoyed the challenge of the book. Good Luck to you ... view book
