about me

If I tell you I will read you book, I will.
If I tell you I like your book, I do.
If I tell you that it should be a freaking best seller, it should.
And if I ignore your work, I'm sorry.

That being said, I read 5 books a week, no need to read mine. I keep my absolute favorites on my bookshelf until they are ranked and the rest are on my watchlist waiting their turn.

All I ask in return is for you to friend me.

You may notice that I pop books on and off here all the time. I never truly intend for any of them to make it to the E.D., that's not what I'm here for. I have a small publishing company in Pennsylvania known as DB Publishing House and we currently host just under 200 titles. If you want to get published, we are non-traditional and can help you get your book out there at little to no cost to you. We work on a sales %. Enough self promotion...

I am currently seeking authors who want to collaborate on a fictional young reader series. Email me.

favourite books

I cannot choose...I have loved and hated books. I have a favorite genre or two, and a few I despise. By the time I was five I read over 100 books, by 18 it numbered in the thousands. Some I recall easily, others I can only remember their titles and some I don't recall at all. If you were to ask me what books I can recall best, good, bad or indifferent...this is what they would be:

Jane Eyre
Wuthering Heights
Everything you never wanted to know about wild rocks and didn't even ask (shameless plug)
The Good Earth
A Modern Prospective

Ouch, SMEG should read on, not every story 'knocks out' every reader. That's the whole point is that short stories gives you options. He should read your other book, 5 Words... that has some 'Knock out, drag you around by the foot, smack you up against the wall and anally probe you' stories in it.... view book

I am only 3 chapters in an I absolutely love it! Well told, well done. This is a book I would read to my kids and as they got older would probably read themselves. I don't comment often on books, but this one deserves a comment and a recommendation...get it published! Good luck to you! view book

FIrst I will admit that I enjoyed the story. I was a little confused like most of your readers about your intended audience. We often believe that stories with faires are intended for children. I wish I could see a better shot of your book cover. I have a couple of questions: 1. Who is your in... view book

Jim seems like a nice guy and Claudia is a bit needy for me.... ;P Okay, I am astounded at how good this is. I like to see the dark undertones in the story, the angst draws you deeper, the longing and hunger of being the one instead of the other one by Cladia is stated perfectly. You get big prop... view book
