Zen Guys Go Euro

Joe Gotham

An Irish Sikh and a South African air guitarist attempt to stop an assassin from killing a rapper on his European tour.

Zen Guys Go Euro is a comedic action epic set in India and Europe. The two protagonists, Jagjeet Singh and William 'Wizzo' Hapley attempt to prevent Professor Zumiez from assassinating a rapper called Mabus on his European Tour. Zumiez, formerly Jagjeet's mentor, believes Mabus to be Nostradamus' 'Third Antichrist', after Napoleon and Hitler. He believes that this rapper is the mythical 'Mabus', the one who will herald the end of the world. He intends on killing him and stopping the coming apocalypse. Zumiez tells Jagjeet his plan. Jagjeet is horrified and incredulous. As a Sikh, Jagjeet has sworn an oath to protect all life. So now mentor and student are turned sworn enemies over a man who may or may not be the Mabus written about in Nostradamus' quatrains. Wizzo just comes along for the ride. It is a race against time for the 'Zen Guys' to get to Mabus before Zumiez does.

Joe Gotham

A dark and twisted identity crisis emerges when an amnesiac awakes to find himself accused of war crimes.

An amnesiac awakes to find himself accused of war crimes during the Second World War. Of his two interrogators, one believes him to be guilty, the other is more doubtful. Dr Karen Lingard, an empiricist, is shocked when the man comes back to life after being frozen in the ice after half a century. Her colleague, Seth Craven is a jew and wants to prosecute the prisoner for what he believes were war crimes committed during the Third Reich. We see this John Doe as all his aliases are stripped away like layers of an onion, until the only thing left is the truth.

Things To Do In Dublin When Yo....

Joe Gotham

A funny, sad, bittersweet rags to rags tale of an art school dropout with pithy, earthy dialogue, and a yen for the profane.

This is the story of Kent, back in Dublin after two years away in the countryside. It's about his adventures in art school, his topsy turvy love life, and his complicated relationship with his co-workers at the fast food joint he works at.
Kent is irresponsible and feckless, which brings him into conflict with virtually everyone in his life: his sexually-frustrated 300 pound landlady, his naive yet fiery on/off/on girlfriend, and his co-workers at the Worlds Worst fast food restaurant: Burger Kaiser, not to mention his lazy, aggressive flatmates.
As he finds himself navigating through these trigger-hair twists and turns of a carefree life, he finds himself growing up, getting sane, and looking forward instead of back.

Marrowbone Lane

Joe Gotham

A darkly comedic coming of age story about a boy's complicated relationship with his family, his town, and the opposite sex.

Joseph Kearney grows up in Tallaght, a rough satellite town of Dublin. His first babysitter is raped and murdered. His sister almost dies in the hospital. His mother becomes a schizophrenic after his sister's birth. After his parents break up when he is just eleven, a new stepmother and her three children move into the house, upsetting everything. His father, a strict disciplinarian becomes an abusive alcoholic and beats the boy on little or no pretext.
When the family moves to County Clare in the countryside, far from the hated suburbs, Joseph finds his life and himself forever changed. Joseph sees that he is an outsider for the first time. For the first time in his life he has luck with girs, but that doesn't stop him from making an ass of himself. He is exotic, and so he reinvents himself.
Yet no matter what he does, he can't escape the greatest bully in his life, his father.

This is weird 'cos of the five novels I've written, 'Things to do...' is the one I like the least, and yet it's getting the most attention. Strange. Must be the title, which is a total rip of a kick ass movie called Things to do in Denver when you're dead. I glossed over it again today and it's oka... view book
