about me

I exist in Corporate Hell five days a week, Human Resources. However by night and on weekends I become a skateboarding day-dreamer with chef-like tendencies.

I have been writing on and off for a couple of years. I have written a few corporate articles and business papers but never seem to have found the time to work on my love of fiction; I have written a couple of festive short stories for my wife over the years and contribute on a regular basis to skateboarding and business forums.

Quite recently I started a writing project that excites me and I am making steady progress....who knows? I may finish it, I think I will.

Suburban Fragments

Kendall

It's busy in suburbia. The local GP's selling drugs, there's a serial killer on the loose and the church has organised another fun day.

Mike's caught a cold, Jennie's working hard to make the Church Fun Day a success. Dan, her husband, has got a local teenager pregnant, Ray the respectable doctor is selling a new high to the local youth and all the while seemingly random people keep getting killed.

Thankfully everyone's too wrapped up in their own worlds to notice what is going on in perfect suburbia - where happy families, being seen at church and being a good citizen is all that matters. Jaimie is a smart cookie, she knows what she wants; to escape from her family and be her own person. Unfortunately, things are getting complicated - at least she's got the abortion out of the way and the widow Sykes appears to have found love.

Just finished reading. Can't add much to the comments already made. However, typical adjectives - gripping, pacy and inventive come to mind. Rightly backed and good luck. Waiting for chapter 13. K. view book

Hi Gilly - thanks for backing Suburban Fragments - you know what? I've argued with myself so many times about putting the names on the chapters and I still have not come to an answer! Anyway, I've fallen behind with my writing of this following the theft of my laptop and work (should have back... view book

Natasha - thanks for backing Suburban Fragments - I'm a bit behind with my writing following the theft of my laptop and all my work. I hope to be back on track in the next few weeks and justify your backing. All the very best Kendall. view book
