about me

I was born in Mobile, AL where, at the age of eighteen, I moved far, far away to college (all three-hundred and six miles). I attended classes at Gadsden State Community College on a volleyball scholarship before transferring to the West Georgia State. My path to writing was not a typical one. I'm not the girl who wrote stories in the second grade and continued to do so until adulthood. Nope. I simply woke up one day, cooked breakfast for my family, and jotted down a sentence that seemed too lonely on paper. Now that I live in Montgomery with my husband and son, I hope to have extra time to jot down more sentences and build worlds around them.
