about me

My name is DJ Starr and I am now nineteen years old, haha December Rules. I have always wanted to be a writer and started my book officially in the beginning of January, 2008. The book is called Pythagora. And no, it has nothing to do with the philosopher or mathematics. It was my first book, however I now have several other books under construction. All of my book ideas have all happened to come to me in dreams so that must mean something right?
I have moved all over the place throughout my life, but was born and semi-raised in Madison, WI. I've lived in the Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Morocco, Oman, Spain, and the US. And I plan on going to many more places.
I am now a college student as of about a month ago, and I'm totally loving it, I never knew I could enjoy going to school so much.

I would really love to publish all of my novels. But that's probably every one on here's dream as well.
So far my book is 72,845 words.
I take all criticisms, good or bad with good faith.

Pretty soon I'm going to add some of my next novel, with some relation to Pythagora, called Violet: A Girl on the Run, about a girl who is on the run from her psychotic kidnapper.
Although it shall be after Pythagora hits the desk list, which maybe never =/ But here's hoping =)

Any publishers who would like to get in contact with me can email me at: estrella.starr@yahoo.com

A few books here on Authonomy that I would like to suggest:

Big Dreams and Broken Hearts by Imran Darboe

Chrys! by Nanty

The Beholder by Ivan Amberlake

For now that's it. Except mine of course =D

favourite books

Oh gosh, I have so many but I'll name a few.
There's the Wicked series, the Alchemyst series, the Bourne Series, the Vampire Academy series, Vampire Diaries was pretty good, Whenever I have to write about m favorite books I cant think of any haha. I love anything by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child, John Grisham novels. I love mystery, romance, horror, action, history, and thrillers. Pretty much any book with a good plot.

Pythagora

DJ Starr

The book centers on a girl, Estrella, who has just lost the love of her life upon discovering that she comes from a different world.

Estrella was, as an infant, discovered in a forest by her adoptive mom and dad. Eighteen years later tragedy falls on her as the love of her life is killed. Before she can even begin to accept that Damien is gone she is pulled into another world, Pythagora. Once there she finds out that her real parents are, in fact, the rulers of Pythagora. Her mother disappeared when she was a baby while her father still rules with his diabolical sister, Velucra.
Once in Pythagora, she is befriended by two brothers, Marquis and Larmanca, who take her to a sanctuary where she is told that her father and Aunt are, in fact, made of pure evil. She agrees to help them rid Pythagora of the two tyrants in exchange for help getting back to her own world. But things aren't what they seem, in her old world or her new world.
