about me

Hi,
I love reading and writing. That did not count as a plus for my CV, but I hope it does here. I do need constructive criticism for my work, actually any critique would do.. Yes I would love to be widely read, agented and published, but before that I want my work to be perfected. And I would not be able to do that without some critique, even if you think my punctuation is off, grammar, spelling whatever, I would like to hear it from you. I hope me being honest pays off.
If you like the work and would like to get in touch with me leave me a message and I will supply an email add.
Ps- I am reading other people's work and I am doing it slowly.

favourite books

I like a book that has humor and wit.
I had to add I do not like sci- fi, utopia, paranormal, vampires, elves, goblins... i hope you get the idea

Painting Kuwait Violet

Pamela Fernandes

Four women, three nationalities, two generations, one home.

Violet Baretto thinks that her college degree would be the ticket to the big life. But she was wrong, so damn wrong. When her father dies leaving behind tons of debt she is forced to work as a maid in a Kuwaiti home. And while she's at it, she starts managing her boss's boutiques, secretly of course. She also tames the little Kuwaiti hellion in the form of her boss's daughter. But someone in the Dashti home is not happy about it and is trying to derail her path to success. When one of her colleagues is badly beaten and another killed, Violet realizes there is more than meets the eye in the Dashti home and she has to do something to escape. Something not only for herself, but for every woman in the household.

The writing is really well edited. Its nice to have a male perspective. The reason I initially was curious to read was because I wanted to know what bro lit was. I do now. The book is well paced and flows easliy. What I would look for is a bit more description, what he looks like? whats his room lik... view book

Sue, I liked reading this. Just feel sad for Lola that she comes across as someone who can easily be taken advantage of. Maybe weak? Could you showcase some of he strengths... apart from her easy going nature. At the beginning you say lots of things were said which shouldnt have but in the dream .... view book
