about me

Hello there!

My name is Sheena, nice to meet you. I live in Birmingham. I work in social media communications doing all sorts of things including writing online content, graphic design and producing online content and managing social media presence for the company I work for. I also do a bit of ghost writing.

Am slightly addicted to twitter where I am @SheenaIgnatia
Mostly like to read chick-lit. Love Marian Keyes and I read Enid Blyton books when I can't go to sleep. Also like travel books and blogs. Love Karl Pilkington.

Am addicted to low cost budget airline sites and like to go on £2 Ryanair adventures.

I also like
paddling and all things seasidey, Star Wars, Stargate, Star Trek, reading Heat magazine, watching E!, having Tuesday afternoon indie discos on my own, beer gardens and watching films about football hooligans. And I like zombies, going to the local social club and listening to old people moan about who has won the bingo, vintage clothes, and watching films where people are old and then they are young again by some kind of magic and learn valuable lessons along the way and then they are glad they are old.

I don't like Wetherspoons or when people on Deal or No Deal go around acting like they are best mates and when they come a cropper and end up with 1p or 50p and they go on about how they don't care because they have met such lovely people. Because to be honest, you can tell by looking at them they are gutted and if they wanted to make new friends they could have just started a new hobby.

Ta-ra a bit!
Sheena

Five Go Glamping

Sheena Mullally

Five friends go glamping. Enid Blyton meets chick lit with lashings of alcoholic ginger beer.

Fiona Delaney is stuck in a rut. The only date she has had recently was with Ken from work who said his favourite film was Jurassic park and that he liked the smell of bleach.
She's convinced she is on a fast track to fully fledged mad cat lady like Doris at work. Regional manager Juliet Jackson aka Wicked Witch of The West Midlands arrives on the scene at work making Fiona's life hell.

Glamourous pal Steph suggests a weekend of retail therapy in New York but lavender scented Sineadinsists they accompany her to the "Find The You Within" festival.
Steph agrees but only if they are yurts and hair straighteners. Fiona fancies them being the famous five, maybe solving the odd mystery. So the they set off with flamboyant pal Kirk and his dog to "find themselves", but Fiona ends up feeling more lost than ever...

Even though Fiona isn't sure she will ever find herself, she might just find the love of her life...

Meet, Fiona, Steph, Sinead, Kirk and a dog called Brian as Five Go Glamping.

Sheena and Sainsburys and Spa....

Sheena Ignatia

Silly letters I write to supermarkets & tales where I narrowly escape death, get the sack and go on holiday and stuff.

In this book you will find out what happened when I went to Costa Brava and a mad dog lady with a tin foil vase nearly killed me and ate me. You will learn how to get free cheese and be the first to read about the invention of an actual emotional rollercoaster. You will be astounded at the rudeness of the customer service department at Greggs. Your heart will sing at the kindness of Cathedral City cheese. Learn how people who use pegs for bookmarks can also look like Peter Stringfellow if he had died for a few minutes and then came back to life, but was still really dead. Also , find out how to get scampi in a cup in a pub in that London and how to complain to King Richard Branson.

Chapter 1 Thoughts so far. I'm really enjoying this ,there's so many things I love about it. I know this looks like a load of criticism, but I really am enjoying it loads more than most things I read on here. Really do feel like I am reading a proper book. I find that rare on authonomy... view book

Comlit review of Take Me Drunk, I'm Home. Loved reading Take me Drunk, I'm home. I would describe it as similar to a Nick Hornby or Mike Gayle book with a bit more intrigue and mystery. All the time I was reading it, found myself wanting to read more and more , pushed on by little clues here ... view book
