2/14/10--If you decide to back my book-- thank you. If you do it without commenting, unfortunately due to recent shenanigans, I can only assume you backed without reading in hopes of getting an automatic return backing. That's not going to happen. So, I will thank you and I may or may not take a look at your book. If I do look at it, and back, there will be a comment that is specific to YOUR book, so that you can be assured I did read it.

Leaving me a message saying you read part of my book and backed it, doesn't count either and will be treated the same as a backing without comment.

It's not fair to the people taking the time to read and give thoughtful comments, only to have their books languish because they are doing the right thing.

I would rather stay here and get a handful of backings and useful comments, than a hundred silent backings. What good would it be to make the desk if when I got there, my book sucked and I didn't know it?
