I was born on a tiny farm on the south coast of England and went on to become a fairly successful theatrical photographer in London. I retired (young I hasten to add) from the media rat-race and now work part time in education....the other part of my time is spent either writing or riding and training my two horses.I write fantasy.....nothing 'high' or even remotely so...as I have a serious Elf allergy. I set my stories in our own world as I think they can be more disturbing that way. Some have accused me of writing for young adults.....but I write to please myself.....that should tell you how mature I am! I have a reputation for being outspoken on many issues. I hate authority and 'suits' with a passion and have two cats called Hamlet and Othello.....oh and an underutilised talent for playing the Andean Nose Flute.In the light of the attitude taken by some Authonomists to swapping reads, I have reluctantly taken the decision not to swap in future. I prefer the freedom to read and comment without feeling any obligation. Please respect this!I do not do forums…I do not back that which I would not buy…I am partisan and irascible. I have absolutely no aspirations to the editor’s desk…and will not be mortgaging any close relatives or spinning any sob stories to get myself there. If you like my book...back it....or better still buy it. If you don't like it...tell me why...hopefully in an intellegent and clear way. Well written, and does ‘exactly what it says on the tin’. Not too sure about originality though, there are loads of TV outings for psychic sleuths about at the moment…but that also means that there is clearly a demand for this sort of fiction.
