about me

My name is Emmalena Louisa Ellis and I am 21. I study English and American Literatures at university and have previously been published for my poetry in various competitions. I've loved writing since I was a little girl and would like to take this opportunity to find an outlet and hopefully publish my novels with a major and popular company (after receiving positive feedback so far from friends and family). I love reading, collecting antiques, cooking and traveling and look forward to hearing from you all.

Some people have picked up on my spelling etc in my book, I'd like to say thank you in advanced but am currently uploading the chapters in beta, once all the chapters are up I will resubmit them proof read; in preparation as I near the draft ready for publication. Thank you again, as a dyslexic I welcome your comments but also hope you'll read the story for more than just a few minor slipups on my part.

Frank 'Samuel' Davis is looking for love, but can't decide whether it should be with a woman with apposing values or his pet guineapig..

For Frank life seems simple, bus spotting, guineapig racing and a bitter douse of cider before heading onto his long sufferable mother, and fishbowl slated office where he works as a call adviser. With the company of his pet guineapig Mol, Frank thought he had fallen in love, but it is only after recieiving a sharp blow to the head by a ruby coloured handbag that his troubles in love begin. But will he find a whirlwind in the strange bohemian artist Toni, or the whispers of concussion...?

Once more a beautiful tapestry of regency life as portrayed by Elsie Weaver. The words are rich and the emotions and imagery portrays as ever very real people that the reader can instantly warm to. Elsie never fails to create a gripping story that should appeal to true romantics and historical lover... view book

As a grandaughter to coloniasts in Kenya and Tanzania, (on the supporting side of the African people) I found it refreshing to read a story that brought a refreshing warm tale of friendship, but also the mystical and shrouded dangers of a still partly divided world. Jane Bwye writes with vivid image... view book

From the opening sentence I was instantly traansported from my mundane ordinary surroundings into a bright, colourful and rustic Spain, Diana Henderson has written a story with a premise that appeals for any age group, with her believable, genuine characters both young and old. Diana's narrative s... view book

An interesting stream of consciousness which neither asks nor denies for sympathy. Jack appears to be emersed in his own bubble save for the girl; as if masked by the probing headache andd his desire for existance and love. I would perhaps change somethings; such as the leaving the flat followed by ... view book

I am so in love with this story... cinematic and breathtakingly beautiful there is a charm within the characters and scenery which stroll away from the cliched Chick Flicks of today and reemerses the reader into a cinematic adventure within the heart. Elsie Weaver literally weaves a tapestry of love... view book
