about me

Time for something new and different.
Not all people who write are pale intellectuals endlessly discussing sentence structure and 'voice'. I don't look like a Writer, I don't feel like a Writer but words keep coming out.
None refer to kittens or bunnies or my little pony.
I don't pretend to be literary but I tell damn fine, original tales without all the words that some people get paid for.
Reading for me is similar to being on a car or bike journey, often I am not bothered about getting THERE but love the ride. I will evaluate books on feel, flow and originality of the storyline. I will try to be helpful and resist making negative comments. We all have to learn and it never stops.

I don't have time to spare for Authonomy at the moment as I am compulsively writing my seventh book. I had 'Diary of a Serial Killer' on here for a while but I gave it to free Ebooks.net where it has been downloaded around 40,000 times and pinched by websites all over the place.
TAKE NOTE! Agents and the publishing world weren't interested and agents are still not interested in my writing even after all the excellent reviews. For a free copy, go to www.wordsmorph.com Definitely not PC or for the faint hearted.

I will be back with another book soon.

Anything by Robin Hobb or Katherine Kerr

'The Seven Pillars of Wisdom' T.E. Lawrence (of Arabia)

Most anything that isn't pretentious but opens my mind to new horizons.

My main thing in looking at books - because there are so many and so little time - is generally how readable they are. I found the writing to be quite good, there are a few places where the rhythm needs adjusting (makes the writing sing) but otherwise fine. I enjoy the techno talk, gives realism to ... view book

A few too many I's but otherwise an entertaining and pretty well written read. I enjoyed it and had no problems with the tempo and rhythm of the writing. Backed. Cheers, B. Cameron Lee (Diary of a Serial Killer) view book
