about me

I've swam to Antarctica, and climbed Mount Everest. I've fought with Zulu warriors and walked the Trail of Tears. I've seen the injustice of slavery and tasted the bitterness of war. I've learned about Peace from Mandela, and I've torn down oppression with King. I've walked beside Christ, and endured suffering with Sidartha. I've watched children grow to become great leaders, and men age to become lost relics. I know the Apostles, I've sung for Mozart, and I've played alongside royal children.
I have done many things great and wonderful things.... all as the reader of a book.
I am a mother, I am a wife, I am an adventurer, I am a teacher. I preach, I serve, I love, and I strand up for the oppressed. But what I do, and what I am, have converged most perfectly through words, both my own and those of others. Knowledge may be power, but power cannot serve itself. I read and write to learn and transfer the power of knowledge to all who will listen.

You have done an excellent job crafting this story thus far. The reader has a strong sense of the characters, as well as the tension that is about to collide. Your writing also flows well so that the reader can participate in the story, not just read the words. I do wonder, however, why did Karen... view book

I love your light sense of humor and that this is a book that is not about the supernatural! YA fiction needs books of substance that are not trying to be the next Harry Potter! This book was funny, exciting and I think my son will love to read it! Backed with pleasure, HK Light of the Son view book

I NEED TO FINISH READING THIS BOOK!!!! I was drawn in from the first grisly second and read all 12 chapters in an hour and a half. This is perhaps the best manuscript I have read to date, and I wouldn't say that lightly. The only thing I can blame this book with is that I have chills racing up and... view book

Gripping story! I want so badly to read the ending! Great work, and good balance of the technical with the human aspects of this tragety. You have a strong author's voice without it being overpowering. Great job! Bully and Backed, HK view book
