Hi Authonomites!Night of the Earwig is my twisted tribute to Authonomy, initially created solely for your entertainment (and my own). It requires no backing (nor, by the way, have I been backing anyone else - sorry!) , but I hope you'll stop to read the few chapters I still have available here (I've had to remove most of them - see below), and hopefully you'll laugh a little, maybe cringe a little, and perhaps you'll even leave a note that you passed by.... Night of the Earwig - modified and extended - should be appearing in UK bookshops near the beginning of 2012, courtesy of UKA Press. Be sure to tell me if you'd like to be updated on its publishing progress. You can drop me a line at authonanon@gmail.comRegards,A.

Excellent work, Frank – polished and professional. Can’t really suggest any improvements (though in your Ch. 1 sentence ‘Opening his eyes, he saw a pair of eyes’, the repetition of ‘eyes’ does bug me a little – but maybe that’s just me…). Good luck, and I look forward to reading HC’s assessment of t... view book
It’s taken me a while to get around to your book, Nick – but I’m impressed! It’s very professionally written – an original storyline with strong characters, great dialogue, and wonderful, vivid descriptions. Also, a nice change to read a story on Authonomy with practically no spelling or grammatical... view book
Amusing and intriguing (particularly the brown font that seems to randomly appear throughout the story)….yet the notion of spoofing Authonomy seems strangely familiar. Ah well, I guess this site’s big enough for two satirical takes on everyone’s favourite website. Good luck! – A. view book
Hi Bob - Read the first couple of chapters, and despite the fact that it's not really a genre of interest to me, the story is undoubtedly well-written and polished - certainly more ready for the Editor's Desk than the majority of books I've read on this site. Good luck! - Regards, A. view book
Hi Barbara - I had a look at the first few chapters, which I found well written and enjoyable – a great opening (pirates as promised!), followed by realistic and sympathetic characters in Jack and his family. I do wonder if the pace might be a little slow for some of the more impatient members of yo... view book
