about me

Hi I'm Tim.

One of my aims in life is to write books for children. Over the years I've written a variety of materials, especially short dramas, with my wife for children's summer clubs that we ran together for over a decade. The storylines for our dramas developed over the years and got better and better and really caught the imagination of many 8-12 year olds. We had some excellent evenings discussing characters and plots and often had as much fun creating them as the children did watching and laughing at them.

One of the stories that I wrote was called the Water Works of Clear Wash City. The children thoroughly enjoyed the drama and so I decided to work on it to turn it into a book. It's been quite an experience and loads and loads of hard work. I'm really pleased with the final result and am looking forward to entering the world of books.

If this one takes off then the storyline for the next book is already written, "Surfing the Supernova" but we'll see how things go with the Water Works book first.

Hope that I can take you into a world that's not your own but something that you can almost touch as I seek to create an easy reading style with excellent description to tempt your imagination into the mad dash scenarios that make up my stories.

Have fun reading and I look forward to finding out what everyone else is up to on this website.

Rand, read through the first chapters of your book. They storyline unfolds very nicely in such a way to give a good pace to what is happening and introducing the characters and their place in the story. I like the idea of searching for Babel and this keeps the reader guessing where the story will... view book

Anna, You've obviously spent a lot of time thinking about your characters and not only their role in the story but also the complex and minute details of their lives and how they all mesh together to make them the people who they are. This shows a lot of care has been taken in constructing your b... view book

One thing you might want to add. When you are using the Bible to prove that a child in the womb i... view book
