about me

By profession a musician - guitarist and composer. Generally an arty farty vagrant; peddling art and reaping experiences wherever possible. Travel a great deal, record so far is 25 countries in one year. Perform classical recitals in a variety of situations from intimate Royal family concerts to cruise liners. Jazz, funk and soul electric guitarist; playing with a variety of bands. Composer for contemporary dance companies. Wrote a play while at University which became a set work for theatre students despite being unpublished. Now embarking on novel writing, treating language with the respect it should be shown as a tool and developing systems of narrative forged for the work in question and not sticking to thrashed out formulas.
I am interested in sincerity and depth, something gritty and beautiful - be it whimsical or brutal, claustrophobic or as free as can be. Words are wonderful and I am very excited about reading as much as I can here.

Haven't got further than maybe a quarter of the way in - but I'm a proper reader and want to read all of something so will be back tomorrow. Very much enjoying it so far, good work. Only wanted to point out that your tenses get really confused in some of the first chapters, but seem to straighten ... view book
