MA is keeping me pretty busy just now so I won't be reading much. Feel free to continue leaving requests and I'll hopefully get some time to take a look.**WARNING: MAY CONTAIN NUTS!**FOR YOUR INFORMATION: I am happy to give anything a read, particularly if it is YA or Children's fiction. However, if you leave a message simply promising a return backing it means you'll end up at the bottom of my 'to read list' because you clearly haven't taken the time to look at my profile... I quite clearly have no book uploaded. A last ditch to get on the Ed's desk will also fail to win me over, convince me your book is worth the read and I'll most likely read it :D BRIBERY DOES NOT WORK HERE! ------I'm 28 and currently live in Winchester, UK where I'm half way through my MA in Writing for Children after finishing my BA in Creative Writing last year.

Firstly this is definitely firmly within childrens fiction and not YA as has been mentioned by others(with a 13 year old protaganist I would say somewhere in the 8-12 range). Synopsis is definitely intriguing, sounds like plenty of scope for adventure. Ch1-4 There's a lot here seems unneces... view book
Just looked at chapter's one and two. This is beautifully written although I do think in places it suffers from overwriting and occasional repetition. As beautifully written as it is I don't think it is suitable for the children's market as you have tagged. The language and style of it is much mo... view book
Just read the first two chapters. I really like the idea here and the story seems to be progressing well. The only things I would suggest is going through and tightening the sentences and taking out some of the repetition, there's a fair bit of it and should be easy to spot. I'm having diffic... view book
Backed earlier and finally got a chance to come back and comment. I read the first three stories and enjoyed all of them, they remind me of the ghost/horror anthologies I used to read a few years back. There are a couple of typos but I couldn't see anything major. I particularly liked the second ... view book
I don't read many crime thrillers but when I do there needs to be something a bit different about them. This book fits perfectly into that what I would category. Well written with plenty of tension and interesting characters this book deserves its place on the ED. Anne view book
