Somebody Clever is your average kind of guy. He's full of himself and a lot of sarcasm, and just seizes every day, whichever way it comes.........
Until suddenly, he becomes Captain of the 13 Regiment nick named 'Spooked', and gets involved in a race against the organisation 'Danton' for the 'Key to the Midway'. According to the prophecy, with the 'Key to the Midway', the right ingredients and Baloney, the government can be turned. Nobody really understands what that is supposed to mean, but as the Master is determined to get his hands onto the 'Key to the Midway', Somebody needs to be clever......

"Forgive the poor syntax: it was a NaNoWriMo entry and posted in the raw. What counts on this book is the narrative tone and its protagonist, Somebody Clever, both of which draw to mind the best Douglas Adams presented in his work. It's humorous, adventurous, and besides who can go wrong when a book's first line mentions fluffy purple monkeys?"
